Kaita Igarashi

Kaita Igarashi is a Portland, Oregon based communications strategist and documentary filmmaker working with groundbreaking political films, grassroots movements, and progressive leaders. He began his career as an impact producer for Israelism, a critically acclaimed film examining the American Jewish community’s shifting relationship to Israel/Palestine. Since then, Kaita has worked with leading voices in the space, including Tikkun Olam Productions, Seen.TV, and Watermelon Pictures. Notable films include Coexistence My Ass (Sundance), The Encampments (CPH:DOX), and The Voice of Hind Rajab (Academy Awards). Additionally, he has produced video work for a variety of progressive organizations including Jewish Voice for Peace National, Tennessee Drivers Union, and Portland Democratic Socialists of America.
